OGGY – Another Dream

With her latest single, “Another Dream,” London-based singer-songwriter OGGY steps confidently into a new chapter of her musical journey. Known offstage as Olga Savic, OGGY has been steadily carving out a place for herself in the UK indie-pop-rock scene since her debut in 2021. While her earlier releases—Morning After Love, Shut, and Find My Way—introduced her talent for melody and emotional honesty, Another Dream elevates her artistry with its polished production, expressive lyricism, and a powerful pop-rock edge inspired by bands like Fall Out Boy.

From the first notes, Another Dream pulls listeners into a vibrant sonic world fueled by electric energy and heartfelt vulnerability. The track’s rhythmic pulse drives the song forward, while OGGY’s vocals carry the emotional weight of the narrative—anchored by the dramatic and unforgettable chorus:

“Another dream come to end
When I look into your eyes
I will see it’s all pretend
But I’m hoping that it’s not
When you see me as I am
A thousand dreams will die again.”

These lines capture the bittersweet essence of the single: the tension between longing and truth, hope and heartbreak. Drawing from her own experiences, OGGY transforms the fragility of love into something powerful—something listeners can feel deeply, even on the first listen. It’s this emotional transparency that gives the track its strength.

OGGY’s journey to this point has been shaped by discipline and years of training. Though she began releasing music only in 2021, she has studied extensively, earning an MMus in Music Performance from Kingston University and completing vocal courses through Point Blank Music School in both London and Los Angeles. Her instrumental versatility—guitar, piano, and ukulele—further broadens her approach to songwriting. The spark that set her writing career in motion came from a short course with songwriter Aidan Martin, where she discovered her natural talent for melody and lyrical connection.

This new single reflects that growth. Recorded in a London studio, Another Dream follows OGGY’s creative process: melody first, then lyrics shaped around the emotional core. This method gives the song a natural flow—its words feel like an extension of the tune rather than something added on top. It’s also what makes the story behind the track resonate so strongly. OGGY describes the song as a memory transformed into music—a personal moment made universal.

While OGGY has taken some time away from performing to focus on acting, Another Dream signals a return to her musical ambitions. Her earlier releases have been featured on stations like Radio Wigwam, Radio TFSC, and Eagles Nest, and she has performed at local showcases, open mics, and jam sessions across London. Now, with fresh music on the horizon and plans to get back on stage next year, OGGY is once again building momentum.

In many ways, Another Dream represents both an ending and a beginning—exactly as OGGY intended. It’s a heartfelt, polished, and emotionally rich single that captures her artistic evolution and hints at the exciting music still to come. As she continues to blend pop, rock, and indie influences with her signature melodic style, OGGY is well on her way to making her mark on the British music scene.
