Fine Returns With Dreamy New Single “I Could,” Previews New Project With Astrid Sonne

After releasing her enchanting debut full-length Rocky Top Ballads last year, Copenhagen-based artist Fine Glindvad Jensen — known simply as Fine — is back with fresh material. Her new single, “I Could,” marks her first release since the acclaimed album and showcases a continued evolution in her sound.

“I Could” is a hazy, sultry track driven by a playful, slippery bassline courtesy of Lola Hammerich. The song drifts with dreamlike ease, layering Fine’s soft, emotive vocals over minimal, hypnotic production. It’s a subtle but striking return, cementing her place as one of Denmark’s most intriguing voices in alt-pop and experimental songwriting.

In even more exciting news, Fine is teaming up with fellow Danish composer and musician Astrid Sonne for a brand-new collaborative project called Coined. The duo will debut the project on April 29 at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts — a fitting venue for the boundary-pushing pairing.

With “I Could” setting the tone, and a new creative partnership on the horizon, 2024 is already looking like a vibrant new chapter for Fine
